One of the reasons POP is going to work for you is that I believe in ABC and use it to keep hammering away at anyone who will listen, which I hope is you.
People are amazed when I let them in on this little secret. I use POP, the program that I have been working on for more than 30 years, about 20 to 25 % of the time.
The reason is simple; it’s not about trading my time, or investing my energy, or better selecting my priorities, it’s about being able to control myself more often. This is why this whole exercise, life, is about being able to control ourselves, not the environment around us.
This is why ABC is so important to you as well as me and everyone else that is taking this journey.
A Clarification Is In Order
I mentioned that I use POP about 20% to 25% of the time. That should read:
Depending upon the day and the circumstances, I am satisfied with my results and I had a good day, which I attribute the fact that I was able to utilize enough of the principles and systems in POP to get ahead of the curve and accomplish something that day.
On the days that I got behind the curve, let other people and things get in my way, either did not have an agenda, or let my agenda get over run and over ruled, then on these days, I can directly attribute getting steamrolled over to my inability to use what would have saved me, POP.
The question is then, why do I not simply do what I know I should everyday, and then all I would have would be great day’s everyday?
It’s never all black, or all white, except on the really bad days and on those, sometimes you have to just surrender a hope it gets over quickly and as painlessly as possible.
Most days are a combination of successes and failures; hopefully we edge into the more success than failures days more often than not.

It’s Never An All Or Nothing Day
Days are never 100% successful, nor are they usually 100% failures; they all lie between the two extremes.
What I can address is the eternal search for the perfect days. Days when we have prepared ourselves properly, have done all of the right activities to put us in a position to do our best, be our best and achieve the most we can from any day, that is the goal.
Then we start the process all over again for the next day and the next and…
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday.
A Fast Review
The reason I believe in ABC is 3 fold;
- We all are human, at one tome or another, perhaps many times, we have started on plans to improve ourselves, diets, self help programs, educational, many ways we have embarked on to improve ourselves. Our collected success rates have varied.
- Our circumstances change, sometimes even day to day. Depending upon where we are and how we are responding, TODAY could be the day that we are open enough to look at new ideas and a new approach to existing situations.
- I have said this many times, it bears repeating, I am not a mind reader nor do I know exactly what may be the right approach, the exact words, the number of repetitions that could be required to reach you and your specific set of circumstances.
